Andrei Pogan
Andrei is the Project Manager of the group. He is also part of the Hardware team working on designing a visually appealing exoskeleton to add to the coffee machine. He orders required components and manages the product website.

Joshua Brown
TECHNICAL LEAD
Josh is the Technical Lead and is a part of both the Hardware and Software teams. He designs the parts to be 3D printed on CAD, and also works on adding functionality to the Raspberry Pi touchscreen to be used in the final product.
Alex Abou Chahine
ARCHITECT
Alex is a part of the Hardware team working on the interface between the Arduino and required components to move the required dials and pressing the designated buttons to ensure the correct coffee is being made.
Jason Yuan
ARCHITECT
Jason is a part of the Software team. He is working on using the IBM Facial Recognition services and linking this through NodeRed to the Raspberry Pi to allow for the machine to know who it is talking to.
JurgeN Shiqerukaj
ARCHITECT
Jurgen is a part of the Software team. He is working on the voice recognition for the machine. He is working with IBM speech-to-text and text-to-speech services and linking this through NodeRed to the Raspberry Pi to allow for the machine to be able to understand the person who is speaking and provide an answer.
We are a group of Third-Year Electrical & Electronic Engineering students from Imperial College London. Working in conjunction with IBM , we aim to make regular appliances SMARTER. CASE is our first prototype of a smart exoskeleton that can be attached to a regular coffee machine to enable facial recognition and voice control, amongst others. Using IBM Watson, Raspberry Pi and Arduino, this blog follows our work on the project from the very beginning. To put some names to faces, you can see the group members below!
Aye Mon Myo
Aye Mon is a part of the Hardware team working on alternative designs for parts to substitute the original ones on the coffee machine. She also works on the weekly podcasts discussing the progress of the group.

Sam Zatland
ARCHITECT
Sam is head of the Software team. He is working on creating an interface for ordering coffee using BlueMix and NodeRed. He is also working on implementing a dialogue between the machine and a user.
Hsiang-Hsiang Liu
ARCHITECT
Hsiang Hsiang is a part of both the Hardware and Software teams. She is working on alternative methods for pressing the buttons of the coffee machine and also working on the 'intelligence' aspect of the final product.
